FAQs

Are Caroline Lorinet products natural and organic?
Yes they are natural and organic! Our main aim when creating the range was to choose safe ingredients, and where possible, the majority of these are natural or naturally derived. Many of the other ingredients we used are organic. Creating products that are incredibly safe for sensitive skin has always been our main goal.

Why do you use Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil in your products?
Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil has long been revered by herbalists for its ability to gently and effectively treat skin conditions such as dryness, acne, eczema, rosacea and dermatitis.
Clinical research shows that Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil is a powerhouse of skin repairing and conditioning actives, including extraordinary levels of highly effective antioxidants and Carotenoids (Vitamins A, B1, B2, C, K and E). It also contains Phytosterols and Flavonoids, which act as immune boosters to help protect cells from damage. Unlike most plant oils, which usually have just one essential fatty acid, Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil is the perfect ratio of essential fatty acids Omega 3, 6, 9 and 7. These essential fatty acids are vital to collagen production, moisturise the skin, lighten pigmentation and age spots and help reduce inflammation.
After months of research we chose Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil to be our hero ingredient due to all of the factors above, plus its ability to fight the signs of ageing even for those with the most sensitive skins.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, absolutely. All ingredients have been chosen for their mildness as well as their functionality and are safe for all skin types. They are suitable for those suffering from skin problems such as dryness, eczema, dermatitis and rosacea.

Are Caroline Lorinet products hypoallergenic?
Yes, however no cosmetic product can be guaranteed 100 per cent hypoallergenic. Even products that have been tested with a dermatologist for low sensitisation potential may cause a slight reaction with even a very small percentage of users.

I am experiencing some sensitivity to the products, what should I do?
If you are experiencing sensitivity, rather than use all of your products at once, just start with one or two for the first week or so until skin settles down and adjusts to the new ingredients. Then, gradually add in the rest of the collection as you see fit.

How long will I have to wait before I see results with Caroline Lorinet products?
Your skin should start looking smoother and more hydrated within the first seven days. On-going use will improve skin tone and moisture levels and overall luminosity.

I have very oily skin; can I use Caroline Lorinet products?
Caroline Lorinet products are formulated to suit all skin types not just only the sensitive skins. Some products within the range are more suited for normal to oily skin and some for drier skin, but all products will address hydration levels in any skin type, as well as combating the effects of ageing.
